Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN STAY AT THE RETREAT? -The retreat comfortably accommodates up to eight quilters, but with prior approval, two additional tables can be added to create ten quilting stations. If you plan to bring a group of ten, please contact me in advance to make arrangements. If you opt 10 guests, please bring an air mattress.

ARE PETS ALLOWED? -Sorry, no pets allowed at the retreat house. Furry friends (big and small) will need to stay home.

ARE THERE CLASSES TAUGHT AT THE RETREAT? -No. There are no classes included in the booking price. You are welcome to host your own class during your booked retreat.

DO GUESTS HAVE TO SHARE A BED? -There are five twin beds and two queen beds making a total of seven individual beds, or 9 heads in beds if sharing the queen beds. If you book the house for 10, you will need to bring an air mattress.

IS FOOD INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT PRICE? -No. However, the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for cooking meals. There are also many wonderful local restaurants within a 10-minute drive.

IS THERE A DEPOSIT? -Yes. 30% of your reservation cost is due the day of booking. The remaining amount is due 30 days prior to check-in.

ARE TAXES INCLUDED? -The state of Utah requires us to charge Sales & Use Tax as well as Transient Room tax. Tax is charged in addition to the nightly rate.

IS THERE A CLEANING FEE? - There is a required $200 cleaning deposit that will be charged to your card the day before you check-in. If your group leaves the home reasonably clean, this will be refunded.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NIGHT STAY? -Yes. Due to the high cost of cleaning, there is a minimum 3-night stay.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT? -CHECK-IN is 2:30PM on your arrival day and CHECK-OUT is 11AM on your departure day unless prior arrangements have been made.

ARE LINENS INCLUDED? -Yes. All bedding and towels are included. Each bathroom also has it's own shampoo, conditioner & hair dryer.

IS THERE A FUNCTIONING KITCHEN? -Yes, there is a full kitchen onsite stocked with the basic cookware needed to prepare your own meals. A slow cooker, outdoor grill, coffee maker & basic spices are also included, but you will need to bring your own food.

IS THE RESIDENT OF THE HOME ONSITE & AVAILABLE TO HELP? -No one is living in the home and the entire home is available for use by guests during their stay. The retreat hosts live 30 minutes away and are available to help if needed.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY? -Call 911 if there is a true emergency. Call or text Shanae for minor home problems. We do our best to not interrupt your stay, however some issues need immediate attention and we appreciate your communication with us.
